Identifying a Jezebel Spirit
How do you identify a Jezebel Spirit?
Demons impersonate the deceased and imitate their characters. These spirits have been around for centuries, studying, strategizing and executing the wicked agenda of Satan (formerly Lucifer). They move among us, whether in the air or on the ground influencing all manners of evil. Their goal is to steal, kill and destroy. Sadly, no one is exempt from this. From infant, adolescence to adulthood, they study mankind. Demons use any means to get to us. Though, we’re all special with a purpose, they hate prophetic voices. God uses prophets to warn, correct, encourage, judge and uproot.
Some people don’t know they have this calling. At a young age, they can recall feeling different from other children. The enemy will use relatives to ridicule and abuse them continuously. As a result, they struggle with shame, rejection, fear and various other strongholds from their traumatic upbringing. The devil wants this because he knows there are three possible outcomes – either kill yourself, someone kills you or God intervenes. Divine intervention is what he doesn’t want. If the enemy can get you to do one of the first two, that’s one less person he has to fight.
Traumatic upbringings are the perfect incubators for the Jezebel spirit. This demon is one of the worst to encounter. It likes control, confusion, lies, fear and manipulation. You can encounter this demon at work, home, school and church. At home the Jezebel spirit could be inside mother, father, siblings or a grandparent. This relative was wounded in their life and never healed. Unknowingly, this relative has been infested by this spirit. The goal of this spirit within a family is to disrupt unity. It hates families coming together, whether it be a reunion, family night or an outing.
A person under this spirit’s influence discourages individuality, peace, joy and unity. They cause strife in relationships and attack anyone they can’t control. The infested person can make others hate you, attack you and reject you. Think of “scapegoating” and you’ll have the perfect preview. They thrive on the weakness and hidden pain. The perfect person to assist them is the agreeable one who never questions them. The foe is the nonconforming rebel that questions everything. Why families? Imagine someone acting as supervisor and telling colleagues what to do. They want to be God without the responsibility.
There are consequences for someone with this spirit and those who support it. Have you noticed this? Ask God for direction. Don’t confront the person with this spirit, unless God instructs you. If you dare to, be ready for all types of attacks. Read 1 & 2 Kings. This spirit will reign if allowed. However, God always brings someone to tear down its evil kingdom. When God sends a prophet or a warrior, it’s usually the final warning before destruction.
